Welcome to Week #7 – FREE GIVEAWAY for the ❤️-19 Challenge to support local businesses! This week’s giveaway was a $25 gift card to Lakeport Fish & Chips.
Lakeport Fish & Chips is a family run business with two locations, one in St. Catharines and also one in Niagara Falls.
The current owner started working at the restaurant as a dishwasher while putting himself through school and through the years worked at many different positions at the restaurant. He worked hard, loved the place, and was a trusted employee, often left in charge. One day the owner said, ‘I’m getting old, do you want to buy the business?’. How could he and his family refuse?! And, we’re glad we was able to continue making great fish and chips!
The LOVE-19 Challenge to a call to real estate lenders to purchase 19 gift cards from local businesses affected by the COVID-19 crisis and give them away. I am so glad you have chosen to be a part of it and help support local business. What a great way to show some love.
